Office Manager

The Future Project is looking for a rockstar Office Manager who is equal parts expert organizer and galvanizer of culture.

About the position:

The Office Manager is a perpetual host, or "stage manager," for The Future Project's headquarters.  They create and maintaining a superlative environment and pitch-in with administrative tasks related to running an effective, inspired company.

In every aspect of this role, the Office Manager is driven to nurture a workspace reflective of our core values. They should expect to spend about 25% of time creating our office environment. This means developing a deep understanding of the workflow habits, patterns, and practices of our team in order to build robust and adaptable systems that facilitate an optimized experience within our space. The remaining 75% of their time will be spent supporting the operational administration of our facilities.

Critically, a strong candidate will have a radar constantly attuned to the team, and will be able to prioritize the highest value activities every day. Here’s how that might look:

  • This includes welcoming guests and exposing them to our culture when they enter.
  • Own and manage an internal help desk that ensures people have the information they need when they need it.
  • Manage and execute all expense reporting for the operations team.
  • Support in operational troubleshooting for the entire team.
  • Managing mail and package delivery.
  • Ensuring conference rooms are both functional and easily useable.
  • Managing all office management vendor relationships.
  • Ensure TFP’s supplies are fully stocked, meticulously tracked, and organized.
  • Optimizing office systems that can be continuously improved within our office.

They will also integrate with the People Team, helping execute the staff experiences that represent the cornerstones of our culture.

  • This includes managing the all-staff event calendar, which creates clarity for the entire team around special holidays and team events.
  • Ordering catering for meetings, special occasions, and holiday events.
  • Proactively suggest ideas for staff experience.
  • Supporting our Director of People Relations with team member onboarding.
